Zachary Riga is a Greenville-based multi-media artist, muralist, and acrylic painter with four years of professional experience. He’s worked alongside some of the city’s most respected muralists, helping create the murals Greenville has become known for. Beyond independent and collaborative mural work, Zach partners closely with clients and businesses to create commissioned pieces for residential and commercial spaces, and has shown work in several juried art exhibitions, with more gallery and public installations on the horizon.
Zach has pursued the arts professionally since 2021, a lifelong dream realized. His work is driven by a simple ambition: to fill spaces with vibrant color, spark quiet contemplation, and share the same joy he feels while creating.
His style is dynamic, evolving, and unafraid to break from convention, blending pop culture influences, bold unconventional color, landscape, and metaphor. Recurring themes like abstract dreamscapes, femininity, identity, and color theory keep his work in constant motion, with each piece pushing his practice a little further.
While paint remains his primary medium, Zach also works with recycled materials across a range of techniques and surfaces, and explores digital design, photography, woodworking, and sculpture.
His portfolio is a curated look at his recent work, and just the beginning. He’s excited for what’s next, and even more excited to share it.
